Introducing our new BCCTC Director of Coaching, Ms Kim Davis

Good evening BCCTC Members,

The Committee is pleased to announce the appointment of Certified Club Professional Coach Kim Davis in the role of Director of Coaching at BCCTC.

Kim is highly qualified and well credentialed in all facets of the game and we are very excited to have secured her services. Her qualifications further extend to high performance biomechanics, physical conditioning, tactics, sports psychology, nutrition and long term athletic development plans & the elite environment.

Kim’s tenure will begin at the start of Term 3 and in addition to Club responsibilities and commitments, Kim will remain Head Coach at Mentone Girls Grammar and will continue with her involvement with the Super 10’s & 12’s Competitions and as a Talent Development Coach with Tennis Australia.

The Club and Kim is committed to the retention of all current coaching programs and is acutely aware of the need to, and will deliver on, providing additional coaching for all playing levels including further development in the areas of Hotshots and Cardio Tennis.

With the capability and qualifications to coach from beginner to elite levels, a demonstrated ability to manage, organise and coordinate tennis club operations and with a focus on not just the game itself, we are confident that Kim will be a valuable asset to our Club.

The Club extends an invitation to all Members to a “Meet the Coach” opportunity on Saturday 13th June at BCCTC from 1.30pm – 3.30pm.

You are encouraged to make contact with Kim by phone on 0412 066 598 or at kimd@netspace.net.au to discuss your own or your children’s coaching needs.

On behalf of the Club, we welcome Kim and wish her a long and enjoyable relationship with BCCTC and it’s Members.

I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank Ben Brown and Aaron Hamstead who, along with myself, gave of themselves numerous hours to ensure that the Club secured the services of a coach of the calibre of Kim.
We are all very excited about the future of the BCCTC – Thank you and well done Gents.

Kind regards,
Colin Hunter
BCCTC Club President
